The Senators have made the first step in ultimately bonding their fate to the President. Luckily, for the world, it was a vote that recorded each single name and its vote.

Come next week, they have the last chance to get out of this trap they laid for themselves. Vote for keeping the clearly criminal man in the White House, and history will not look kindly on what you did, fully aware that you both did not want to here from direct witnesses, and that you did not want to see the documents the White House held back.

What still irritates me, is:

They have their sponsors, they are directly threatened by Trump and the Party - why do you still back this criminal? You used to be smarter.
