Racing is life... anything else is just waiting.
From Roman times til now, not much has changed, has it? Convince the sheeple that war is necessary for their very survival, while the profiteers rake in their millions.

Say, while the talking chimps continue to claim that there were "weapons of mass destruction" over there, has anybody found the first dollar of the $20 billion in U.S. provided cash that went "missing"???

Now when will you stop this?

When the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth, is revealed.
And all the criminals who profit from war are brought to justice.

I just wanna know when we'll get to a point where MGS 4 becomes a reality.

THE WAR ON TERROR!!!!!!!!!!!

They are coming to get you was W Bush administration cry to the sheeple. Plus W said after the own planned 911 attacks, " Go out shopping" .

Wow, this looks like a thread with the potential for a lot of you guys to argue, throw insults around and generally be pricks to each other. Guess which section I'm moving it to?

No, not Erotic Stories. There's enough dicks in there already, nyuck nyuck nyuck.

You could also argue that war is the driving force behind science. The pace at which modern science advances owes a lot to the funding it gets from military applications. Throughout history armed forces have had access to the very best in technology their respective countries had to offer, whether it was vehicles, medical procedures, communications, etc. Let's not forget during the first gulf war only the US had GPS which allowed the tanks to drive circles around the Iraqis, and now that same tech is in our phones. That transfer of tech to civilian use is another way War = Profit (but in a more moral way)

With the exception of maybe North Korea, you could even say the level of technology in a country's armed forces is a good indicator of how technologically advanced they are.

I hate to sound callous but one example is the Medi Vac system used in the world, which started during the Korean War and was fine tuned in Vietnam. I would guess that more lives were saved in the civilian world in a year that died in those 2 wars.

In this city with no footpath there's a building with no people
There is crime and gun decisions
There's a street of heat and hawkers, there's a house of hope drifters
There's a gang that shoots then listens

There's a place that knows no poverty, a town without pollution
There's a soul with good intentions
There are canyons full of movie stars, churches made of metal
There are mountains made of muscle

We have leaders who are anxious, we have captains not courageous
Captains tumbling into madness
But there's a main who makes no enemies, a body never breathless
No ambition ever hopeless

Up on bedlam bridge somebody is waiting
Up on bedlam bridge I'm shot to heaven
Oh, up on bedlam bridge, waiting

In these locked and shackled neighborhoods, bridge and tunnel diplomats
See the golden ghetto's creeper
flags from history, songs for the White House gangsters
Guns for hell gate railway sleepers

But there's a main who makes no enemies, a body never breathless
No ambition ever hopeless
So how stands the city on this winters night?
The city on the hill or so they said

The snow is falling down around the armory
The city's closing in around my head

Up on bedlam bridge somebody is waiting
Up on bedlam bridge I'm shot to heaven
Oh, up on bedlam bridge, waiting

Drive, won't you drive the engines harder, drive
Drive, won't you turn the engines over, drive

Support our troops! same Nazi style nation pride shit that W fooled the masses knocking down the twin towers.

Yeah! 4 terrorist learn on training planes to control 767 or whatever when airport recruit rookies have to fly with a experienced airline pilot before getting full control to go solo,

Stupid Americans!

War is for profit, Ask Dick Cheney's friends in Halliburton with the wool over the eyes 911. "Go shopping". STUPID AMERICANS!

PS: Hamid Karzai worked for Halliburton in the US. Go figure stupid Americans and Iraq is better off from when Saddam was in power. A former CIA pawn.

STUPID AMERICANS, Merry Xmas.

There are plenty of other opportunities to debate the stupidity of Americans but for now I will address your contention that rookie terrorist pilots did not fly planes in to the World Trade Center and Pentagon. So are you saying that because FAA and International aviation rules require newly licensed pilots of heavy aircraft to fly with seasoned pilots, that somehow it is impossible that trained terrorists did not because of those rules? Seriously? That proves your conspiracy theory?

Boy! the whacky left just keeps on getting whackier and whackier.
