That's probably the case in the UK, but in the US, not necessarily. For example, Poles still must have visas even to visit the U.S. Chicago's surely got THOUSANDS of Poles there ********* immigration laws. I've met plenty of them.

I share your outrage at open racism or "snickering" prejudice...but I think your problem, Transdurmal, is that you're just a 40 post newcomer, at this point. Instead of blasting Ninety and laying waste to the thread with a lot of *heat*, perhaps take his statements and take them apart, and show him where he's misguided. I've been around a bit, Ninety is probably a "white favortist" but is he someone who would go out of his way to harm people based on their skin color? I'm not so sure. Maybe.
Just remember that there are more people who share your views about an open America where we all like each other and root for each other, rather than a closed-minded America filled with phony predjudicial bigots.
