WalMart sues brain damaged employee!!!

WTF! are you kidding me!

I just saw this in a paper I had. the story was originally in the Wall Street Journal. I did a google search and found a bunch of info

this corporation makes 2.9 billion in one quarter, and they sue the lady for 400,000k and legal fees?!

to top it all off, she just lost a *** over in Iraq.

although I am a union member, I don't preach pro-union nor am i anti-union, but its situations like these that make me glad to be a member.

sorry, not sure how to post links, so if someone could inform me for future reference it would be greatly appreciated.

I'd love to see why they sued this lady.

As much as that sucks, they have every right to do it. According to this article, it was even in her insurance plan that they were allowed to do this.

A federal judge ruled that Wal-Mart’s health care plan gave them first dibs on any money gained by an injured employee. Such provisions aren’t uncommon in health plans, and Wal-Mart isn’t the first to enforce one.

Unfortunately, that lady (and/or her ******) should've done her homework on her insurance coverage by Wal-Mart. As shitty as it seems, she and her ****** should've taken proper precaution.

its legal, but it doesn't make it right! for a copany that makes about 12billion a year, seems pretty low and shameful to sue for something that seems like a drop in the bucket to them, yet would devastate an already struggling ******.

That is really screwed up. They are only sueing her because she got money from the trucking company. They don't need the money for anything.

A good part of their employee health "plan" is to seek free services from the government whenever possible. So, you pay.

I'm not saying that it was cool for them to sue this lady, but they had every right to, which it even states in their insurance plan.

That's why, unfortunately, this lady and her ****** kind of fucked up by going and suing the trucking company. They should've just left it alone and let her insurance take care of it, like it already did. I feel bad for her, but it's her own fault for making an innocent mistake.

wow. about 40 minutes into the first video. UNBELIEVABLE. this is just ******* me off! hated the store to begin with, won't ever shop there again!

Wal-Mart wasn't the first, and it might not even be the worst, but when all the factors are put together it has become the epitome of everything that is wrong with our economic system.

Walmart is evil plain and simple.

Never shop at Walmart. They cost taxpayers more than they are worth.
Plus they import from China more than any other company. What happened to Walmart being proud of their made in the USA products?

Walmart is a tick on the taxpayers backs.

It sucks but I don't see the problem.

What they make per quarter, or the fact she lost her *** has zero to do with the story.

I **** the local WalMart because they don't have Silent Hill Origins for the PSP.

If I had a legitimate reason to **** them my ***** pressure would sky-rocket.
