Virgins!

in this day and age it is perfectly fine to be a virgin, so long as you are fooling around. Remember oral relations is "i did not have sex with that women".

22 and still a virgin. Not particularly embarrassed, not particularly proud, not waiting for anything in particular or actively searching for it. It's not a philosophical or moral decision. If I'm in a steady relationship and the issue comes up naturally I'm not gonna turn it down, but I'm not in a hurry to get it done just because.

maybe if you had a different mindset than whats in your sig, you wouldnt be a virgin. thus, you wouldnt be embarrassed. most men hate feminists.

Well maybe if there were fewer guys with your mindset there would not be girls like me using a signature like that.

Love you, you darling intelligent man!

im going to make this as complicated as i can just because you assumed what my mindset is.

im one of the minority in this world that sees that one gender needs the other gender just as much as the other gender needs one gender. in other words, men need women just as much as women need men.

and where did your sig go?

There's nothing overrated about sex, my friend...

lol as Lois Griffin said...."it's the bee's knees" lol

if i quoted correctly that is :p

I struggled with it for years...it hurt really bad, and I couldn't stand it for more than like 30 seconds. But since I've been with my current boyfriend, we worked up to it slowly - first we used toys and fingers - but yeah, he's the first one to ever actually complete the act. For a long time I thought I was never going to be able to do it, which was a blow to my self-esteem, but I did! :partysml:

Lost mine when i was 17 to the same guy I am with now. Only been with 1 other guy (kinda regret it too). Almost lost it to a complete jerk, but somehow I woke up and realized that losing it to a guy the size of your pinky just isn't worth it.
I know how you feel about all that though. Me and boyfriend try sometimes, but it just hurts alot. Any suggestions? We usually do it with me lying down on my stomach...is lub the key?

I gave mine away at 19.

Sex isnt overrated, most of the time. Even at the worst.. it's the same or better than the BEST masturbation you've ever had.

What IS overrated... is the effort you expend to actually get sex. After you actually shoot all the crazy juice out into her hole.. you look at the 60$ receipt from the bar.. you notice the stain on the bed.. and your back is sorta painful the next day at work. You MAY or MAY NOT have to actually deal with them afterwards... which isnt the same as before sex. Whenever one of you wants to cuddle, the other never does. It's like some polarity issue but.. with people.

Agreed- the work to get to sex can be tremendously overrated.

I guess first masturbation counts as the loss of virginity, therefore not many people can say the're virgins. Even then, it's such a vague term that some can be considered virgins all their lives while others can say they were born non-virgins.

Someone can't lose their virginity through masturbation. You lose your virginity when you have sexual contact with another person. The only ambiguity I see is whether oral sex counts as losing virginity. Does there actually have to be penetration of the penis in the vagina (or ass for gays)? How can anyone say they were born a non-virgin?

Don't hate. I like to stick to the essential meaning of virginity as well. If you masturbate, watch porn, look at your mother in that "weird" way, and basically any conception of a thought or an act that is relieved of chastity should count as the loss of virginity. That's just being old fashioned for ya. Don't worry about morningwood that's allowed. ;)

I've never heard of this before. Just be aware that the world as I've experienced it does not define virginity by those terms. To me it sounds like alot of virgins might want to see it that way so they can say they're not a virgin. Which would be silly because being a virgin isn't something to be ashamed of.

True. But then I think I learned that from my Jesuit professors. And I am sure they are not virgins. :thefinger

Well I admitted to being one and got slated by contributors for it. So it is difficult thing for some one to say. You feel that people will just laugh at you and make out that you are retarded or something like that.

If people say having sex is not such a big deal why do they make such a big deal of it?

People who laugh at someone for being a virgin are one of three things:

1) A high school student
2) An immature piece of crap
3) A virgin themself, who is trying to hide their own insecurities

There's absolutely nothing wrong with being a virgin. It's a very admirable quality, especially in this day and age. God, I wish I was still a virgin. I've only been with one girl, but I completely regret it. I was too young and too stupid to realize what I was doing. That's why I 100% respect people who choose to remain virgins until they are completely ready to share themselves with somebody that they love. I'm actually kind of jealous. :dunno:

I've learned there isn't really a key that works for everyone. With me, it was a control issue. I didn't feel like I had any control over the situation, due to past experiences w/ men just shoving it in my poorly lubed ass as fast as possible. I had a bad experience with a very well-endowed guy, and after that I'd start freaking out, screaming and crying, as soon as anybody tried to do anal with me. First I built my confidence back up using fingers and small toys. Then we moved up to a glass dildo, and finally the real thing. Someone on this board gave me good advice that worked: back onto his cock slowly, rather than have him push it in. Helped me get over my control issues, and now I do anal whenever I feel like it. :)
