Has anybody ever done this to make money? I'm thinkin about it but I dont like the membership fee and no phone contact #. Has any1 ever done this and if so what was the experience like and do you recommend any1 else trying it. Also post sites if you've done it and have good feedback.

i think it is a scam guys, i have game tested before twice now once for Eidos Interactive, and once for a game mag both were ( i *** you not ) boring and and hard work for very little money, back in the days just after tomb raider when i was Eidos i was bug and play testing was on about £75 notes a week

i actually saw an ad in the newspaper here (NJ-star ledger) whilst i was unemployed for a video game tester. i have been playing games forever. since the atari 2600 days. so i called and i was looking for a full time gig since my unemployment checks were running out and i still couldn't find a full-time decent paying job.
it was about 40 minutes away by car. and it paid $8.00 an hour.the guy was desperate to get people and it was a pretty big video game company.

thinking back i should have taken it even if it was a few hours a week for minimal pay...atleast i would have a foot in the door into the video game world.

I nearly applied for it (but not through a website, this was through an actual job centre). Could of been earning £17000 a year, which isn't bad seeing as I love playing video games.
But I spoke to a couple of people who said it isn't fun at all...
