On the JJ Rawlings matter...
First, I'm not him. I like your stuff and am also a fan of Nina Hartley, who has just joined the Vicky Vette Nation.
I do have some questions, which I will ask respectfully:
1) Typically, white supremacist men only marry women who share their ideology. While you were once married to your suicidal, abusive ex-husband, did you share that ideology?
2) You said once in an interview years ago (2003?) that you regarded Nina Hartley as a hero. But one of Nina's signatures is her avid and voluminous interracial portfolio. So, in what sense does she inspire you?
3) In a perfect world, porn would be all about fun. But with the industry under constant attack by government authorities, it's important not to give ammuntion to the enemies who want to shut us down. So, yes, sometimes we do have to look at what we enjoy seriously. That's why I was puzzled that you did not respond point-by-point to JJ's points, because that's something that Nina does often. And because the US has an African-American president, attempts to censor it may now be justified by pointing to white stars deem bigoted due to their perceived refusal to work with blacks just because of skin color.
As for the tone of some posters such as JJ, I don't post in his style, but I understand his feelings. Porn fans don't like it when their idols appear to give evasive and inconsistent replies, especially on hot-button issues like race.
Happy Holidays!
