Van Halen. Gotta love The David Lee Roth years.
Van Hagar had some great stuff.
To me, Van Halen was always Van Halen through Van Halen 3 and the best of stuff. Nothing against the band now, but I can't believe that Eddie Van Halen isn't going to be a part of Van Halen anymore.
I'd love to be able to see Van Halen live sometime too.

It's Michael Anthony that's not in the band anymore because he's friends with Sammy Hagar & that drives the VH brothers crazy.
EVH's *** will now be the bass player. If Dave is in for the summer tour I'll go see them but I wonder about the harmonies. Michael Anthony is an excellent bass player and a great vocalist as well. Even DVL wants Michael Anthony in the fold but it's a no-go. Too bad for who? Us, the fans.
PS: I also liked a few songs of VH III.

If there is even ONE vote for Van Haggar then the internet should be shut down permanently. That's it, fuck this place, this it bullshit, I'm outta here.

Seriously, he who voted for "Van Haggar" please, justify your existence. :dunno:

Let's hear it for the genuine professionalism exhibited by Michael Anthony and Sammy Hagar for their appearance Moday evening in New York City at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony, for which they they were to be honored among the new inductees in the Class of '07, and for which they reciprocated the honor bestowed upon them by, in essence, their record, concert ticket and merchandise-buying admirers, with a brief live performance of some of the music that helped them achieve this landmark recognition of artistic and commercial sucess.

As we know, there was a conspicuous absence of the three other members of the "entity" that had collectively sky-rocketed everyone of them off to fame and much fortune, and it is sad to note that, for a few short hours they could not dispense with their personal disagreements, and direct their energies towards graciously expressing their appreciation for having had a career opportunity that so few will ever attain and that countless millions will always dream of.

Dave may be the greatest front-man of all-time to some, just as Ed may be the most phenomenal musician to ever walk the planet, yeah, and Al, too, in his own right, but none would have ever been able to approach the position they are now had it not been for their faithful fans across the globe.:ban::ban: :ban:

"Health" issues, and "gee, what song should I sing" issues, I have a real hard time with all of that.
As far as I'm concerned, the three of them, the "Axis of Halen" (and "jr.," for good measure as well), can all, collectively or individually, go Premium Link Upgrade .

i couldn't vote but i don't think it would have made a difference.
i vote van hagar.
actually i love all halen or hagar just not van sharone.
i never purchased any of that filth.

To me Sammie Hagar always seemed like a poser, So VAN HALEN, however once they released Jump they were never the same...I tuned right out after that.

Ok, I grew up with both incarnations of VH and I personally like both. Two different styles, and i like both, I have seen both versions of VH in concert and i was never dissapointed, and it is a shame what has happened to them now.
