Finishing 2nd behind Loris Capirossi's Ducati at the Malaysin Grand Prix in Sepang, Valentino Rossi won, on his Yamaha, his 5th 500cc Moto GP World Championship.
The "Doctor" (Valentino's nickname) is now equal to his idol Mick Doohan.
As he won also 125cc and 250cc World Championships in his early years, Valentino is world champion for the 7th time !
He can now try to beat Agostini's record : 500cc World Championship 8 times. But many rumors claim that next season could be Valentino's last season in the Moto GP and that he may sit into a formula 1 seat within two years.
