US youngsters are too fat to fight, warn generals

There is no doubt that we as a nation have a serious obesity problem. Ironically, the subgroup of the population that are the most overweight are the poor. In WW1 and WW2 the number one reason the military rejected recruits was because of illiteracy. Looks like we are now doing a better job of educating our population but a much worse job of motivating them to stay fit.

Considering their history against bearded dudes wearing white robes, might want to rethink that strategy.
