Unable to put text into a post !?!

Unable to post text.

I posted a message and it came up blank.
I edited it, and the error message said "Post is too short, Need to enter more than three words"
This didnt work, I logged out, and logged in (my cookies cleared)
Tried to edit, this didnt work.
Tried to post a new message, this didnt work.

-I am just hoping this post works.

IF you use non-latin characters (the special german characters, the little squiggly things over letters, the dots, etc) your post WILL come up blank.

We DO know what's going on, but we don't have a fix for it right just this moment so no ETA other than Henry and Raymond are working on it.

This also means you can't edit your posts and mods can't edit pre-upgrade posts that have non-latin characters.

You can try to do this, maybe it solves your problems:

if your post comes up blank, click the back button in your browser

I hope the text you wrote is in the post field.

Copy it, and click forward

click 'Edit' under your post and paste your text in

click 'save changes'

I have simular problems too. I have Fallout 3 GOTY (trade in sucks) Fable II GOTY (trade in sucks) SWForce Unleashed II Steel (trade in sucks) Bioshock 2, Tron, Skate 3 and Red Faction (thats pretty much in the order of how good they are too) but mostly the trade-in sucks, I hardly play them at all. I dont find much time for video games anymore. But I keep my 360 because its well worth playing a game when I am bored, plus if I got rid, then I would want a console again. But I also want MW3, Skyrym, and GTA V. I just ordered GTA IV completed ediiton for 20. So I have that game to play but not sure whether to get Skyrim now or after Xmas. I really dont play games that much, but i think Skyrm wont price drop till mid January anyway (or just before GTA V comes out). ARGH!

I did try pressing back button and editing and saving, this was the first thing I tried, it didnt work, but I saved my original message into notepad to deal with the problem later.

I figured it is to do with adding a POUND STERLING type face.

here:

I just ordered GTA IV completed ediiton for 20

I removed the pound mark and it posted... ET VOILA!

The FreeOnes Team solved this now, so you can use the pound sterling sign etc if you please
