U2

FWIW.. Bono has donated time and considerable money to the cause of poverty..
He has also actually gone to countries where poverty is a problem, in order to highlight it...
it's a damn-sight more than the 'all-talk' politicians of this world have done.:2 cents:

Yep & the fact that he doesn't want to pay tax in his own country makes him a total hypocrite. He tells the irish govt to donate more to africa but refuses to pay his fair share to that govt in tax!! This makes him just as money grabbing as the people he is condeming for not assisting those less fortunate!

u2 is good but they are not one of the best bands ever

I like their earlier stuff...before Bono bought an $80,000 Aston Martin.

What is wrong with raising and donating millions for starving children, fighting aids, trying to help developing countries?

The problem is that he's a huge hypocrite. He rants to everyone about saving the environment and then takes 16 limos to his private jet to go somewhere else and tell people to wash their underwear in their dishwater.
I don't care for Bono or U2.

if we had that much money, ( and despite having good intentions) would we fall into hypocrisy?

they have no sense of humor. the first album was their best. after the unforgettable fire they became boring
