Two headed turtle

NORRISTOWN, Pa. - A pet store has bought a two-headed turtle from a collector and plans to keep it on display, the store manager said. The 2-month-old turtle, actually conjoined red-eared slider twins, fits on a silver dollar.

It has two heads sticking out from opposite ends of its shell, along with a pair of front feet on each side. But there is just one set of back feet and one tail.

They say two heads are better then one. ;)

I think its cute and I'd name it TwoTwo. :D

They are indeed cute. Not to nitpick, but in this case I think the semantics are important.

PS- The article I think is wrong too, in referring to these ******* as if they were a single turtle. How would people feel if a pair of siamese twins were referred to as "he" or "she" if they had two brains and two of many if not most other things too.

I wish it were photoshop... But I am affraid this time it is Radiation (c) (r)

LOL I think they have a common anus between the two of them. The picture is deceiving but they are not back to back, more somewhat side by side.

looks to me like they are ass to ass

Well, I kinda thought that their bodies were both kind of curved toward the back of the picture. I thought this because of the crevice in the front of the shell between the two. It looks like the shell of each starts to curve inward toward the back of the picture. Also, since the article states that they seem to be healthy, I figured there must be an anus back there somewhere, or else the waste buildup would **** them. :dunno:

Nice find. I remember having some sliders as a ***; I let them go eventually.

I can't imagine their mobility is very efficient... Both pairs of legs are front legs, facing opposite directions. And it's not like they can reason with each other, heh.
