Flowers Foods and Bimbo have just thrown their hats in the ring. $350 million for just the bread division. Both have the cash. Bimbo cracked the NE market after gobbling up brands in the past few years. Flowers has only Sunbeam, Country Hearth, and Tastykake in this area and would love to break out. Flowers is such a monster stock. Since 1994 they have never missed a quarterly dividend and split the stock 3:2 7 times. I caught the last 4 since I bought in 2003. The next time it splits I will have made 8 times my initial buy. Had I put my money in at the IPO I would be typing this post from my yacht.

but what is sad is this people probably bought these products with there food stamps or something and now hoping for big time cash flow ..
i heard things about people selling the wheaties box years and years ago before i was even born and they kept the cereal in the boxes and maggots started to form and ate the box. i wonder if these people are leaving the products in the box as well, because if they are small bugs can start to form in the twinkies and such then makes their way out of the box by chewing there way out.. nope. and wtf, huh? im embarrassed to say ive sampled lots of bimbo products. all garbage. even their croissants are horrid. they literally stink. like sour turds. packaged toast. stupid. the only thing they got is a cute bear. sorta. but their food is total shit.

I sort of scoffed at the notion of missing Hostess. However, while shopping last night, I passed the end displays of Dolly Madisson and noticed Hostess was not there. Then, I was all "I'd love a snowball right about now." (I bet that just set up a bunch of jokes. lol) I was hoping Dolly would have a knock off available, but no such luck.
