The underneath it is what you really want given that it is the correct answer. If you click it, the thread gets marked solved and the person who answered it gets the credit.

Additionally, you are better off liking their post than you are upvoting it if you want to show your grattitude towards the ID'er.

Upvoting/downvoting only really serves the purpose of stating whether people agree or disagree with what people have suggested as the answer.

e.g. if someone posts an answer and the thread remains unsolved, an answer with or more upvotes is likely to be more credible than one with is in negative figures

In this instance, I think you already know it is the correct answer so no upvoting is necessary, at least not on your part.
