Trump Campaign Launches Guide to Help Supporters Win Holiday Arguments With Relatives


The Trump campaign just launched a website to help supporters win arguments with relatives over the holiday season.

In a Christmas Eve release, the site — dubbed snowflakevictory.com — is a list of Trumpian talking points for supporters to spout over holiday meals and chats with their loved ones.
Each pro-Trump statement is accompanied by a video with additional pro-Trump remarks, such as “We are enjoying the hottest and strongest economy this country has seen in 50 years—and this is due to President Trump’s common-sense, job-creating.”

Kayleigh McEnany, a former CNN contributor and current National Press Secretary for the Trump 2020 campaign, said the goal was to arm Trump supporters for the holiday season.
“We’ve all seen the news articles about liberal snowflakes being afraid to see their MAGA relatives at Christmas or holiday gatherings, so the Trump campaign wants people to be ready,” she said in a statement accompanying the announcement of the site.
She added: “We’re not helping snowflakes avoid arguments – we’re helping Trump supporters win them! As 2019 draws to a close and 2020 approaches, President Trump and Americans are going to be winning, winning, and winning, and then winning some more!”

Impeachment, is, of course, one of the issues addressed in the Trump notes.
“Impeaching President Trump has been all that Democrats can think of since day one; literally the first article about this was printed by the Washington Post 19 minutes after the President was sworn into office,” the site advises before adding, “the Russian hoax blew up in Democrats’ faces, so they had to figure out something else, and they settled on Ukraine.”

The pro-Trump site also suggests supporters say when it comes to talk of Ukraine, “there was no quid pro quo.”

So, the Trump campaign thought they needed to arm Trumptards against "liberal snowflakes afraid to see their MAGA relatives at Christmas or holiday gatherings" ?
Not even mentionning they are encouraging Trumptards not to avoid arguments. They don't care if the Christmas familly dinner ends up in a fight.
Pathetic. I thought conservatives cared about Christmas, that they would fight the so called "war on Christmas". encouraging family arguments isn't exactly my definition of the Christmas Spirit...

In all fairness I do believe its the ones on the so called "Left" who start most of the so called "Holiday" arguments with family members.
Luckily I never experienced any political fights during Thanksgiving and Christmas with my extended family. Just my mom getting pissed off at my dad for drinking too many Budweiser nips.

I guess it comes from our early origins of needing to be in tribes (and that's all these two power hungry, crooked, corrupt parties are now - especially with this new "identity politics" wave that's drowning the nation), because there's (supposed) safety in numbers when a saber-tooth tiger is trying to eat your ass. But in these modern times, I personally don't get it. :dunno:

I won't even discuss investment strategies during holiday gatherings. I certainly don't fall into political or religious debates when I'm trying to enjoy myself.

Yep, I guess it does come down to basic instinct at the core like most things.
I also "blame" modern day professional team sports. People view politics as they do sports with a "my team against your team" mentality, with no in between.
And because of that mentality people have lost their ability to think for themselves on one level or another. Some more than others.
Personally at this point I usually don't care who wins a game but care more about just seeing a good game.

Regarding the whole US Two Party thing I find it hard to believe that anybody still can't see that there is basically no difference in the two.
They are just two sides of the same coin. Its a farce. A con. A control mechanism.
