According to an Oct 27th press release from The White House Office of Science and Technology Policy:
Highlights include:
ENDING THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC: From the outset of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Administration has taken decisive actions to engage scientist and health professionals in academia, industry, and government to understand, treat, and defeat the disease.

Whew. I'm sure glad COVID is over.

There must be a bad flu strain going around Wisconsin then:

I am in America, not of it.
We're rounding a the corner and notice a light, it's getting closer, it's getting louder ...

"You know, without it, we're still rounding the corner," he told a crowd in Michigan. "We have [a vaccine]. But without it, we'll round the corner."
The light is that Fucking Freight Train about to hit us between the eyes.

So Fauci wasn't allowed to talk to ABC, but Atlas goes on Russia Today for a full 27 minute interview? Cool and normal!

So all Biden needs to do is announce that he'll rehire Fauci. I have to say, I can't imagine anyone out there who is still on the fence between trump and Biden, and is going to be nudged one way or the other by this news, but apparently they exist.

No malfeasance here:

"It’s also another in a series of contracts awarded to people with close political ties to key officials despite concerns voiced by government scientists. Among the others: an ill-conceived $21 million study of Pepcid as a COVID therapy and more than a half billion dollars to ApiJect Systems America, a startup with an unapproved medicine injection technology and no factory to manufacture the devices.

In addition, a government whistleblower claimed that a $1.6 billion vaccine contract to Novavax Inc. was made over objections of scientific staff."

The cherry on top is Rick Santorum's investment:

Actually Trump hasn't fired Fauci yet. And he can't.
He could instruct the Secretary of Health and Human Services, Alex Azar or National Institutes of Health director Francis Collins—to whom Fauci has been a mentor— to do it but he can't force them. So it's up to these men. Why would they carry out the will of a President who's gonna leave the White House two monthes from now and fire a guy who's quite popular among the public ?

Why? Because they can. Fauci has embarrassed all of them and they'll want to punish him. Azar will not be leading HHS too much longer.

I'm sure you're familiar with Nixon's Saturday Night Massacre. I could see something similar here.

Just cause he is maybe gonna leave The Office doesn't mean he is gonna disappear. He will be making noise and threats till he dies. Just like he did before 2016. Only differenced is now a lot more ate listening.

I too would not be surprised at a wholesale firing and disrupting of everything possible in the next couple of months. Not only take my ball and go home, but break the bat and plow up the field as well.

Trump in May:
"They [governors] would wait until November 3rd [to open up] if it were up to them," Mr Trump tweeting, adding this advice for Democrats: "Don't play politics. Be safe, move quickly!"

Now that the election is over, why are these democratic governors trying to force more restrictions? I thought we'd all be free on November 4th to resume normal activities. Now, my Democratic governor is saying to cancel all social plans. Was Trump lying about it being political? ;)
