I hung out with some friends the other night, a majority of them go to culinary school and they made some truffle oil ketchup wow good stuff but insanely expensive. What gourmet foods do you folks dig?

I remember we got an 'Prosciutto di Parma' from the manager of the restaurant in the Kiel Castle.

It hung in the Kitchen for a delicious week... you could slice of a little bit with a *****, it was so tender, and just the best I ever had.

Truffles are more than alright IMO.

They are expensive because only specially trained pigs or dogs can root them out...

I like escargots. Most people I know cringe at the thought of them, but they're quite tasty.

I was visiting my ****** in Santa Monica when I was a bout 16, I was in Century City during my trip one night and while waiting outside the theater to see Austin Powers there was Corey Feldman. I got to talk to him but it was basic conversation, I wanted so bad to say Truffle Shuffle but I didnt wan't to seem like a moron lol! I know my post was pointless and random but just a funny accidental moment in my life lol

truffles, the fungus? not a big fan. being an off and on chef myself, i indulge in the simple things. only customers eat **** like truffles.

we eat burgers and stupid **** like that. ive tasted it all. except abalone. i only had that mixed in with scallop meat. it was good but i wonder how good it is on its own.

As of gourmet foods I like a good Caviar with blinis and crème fraîche
