I don't want nothing to do with Pacific Trannies. Get Will on board for that homo shit. The gall of these people, trying to entice shemales into emigrating to the U.S. like we're not fucked up enough. This whole thing smacks of social engineering. Now if we could only get some comprehensive trade agreements that didn't totally fuck over the..........what?

Sorry but I'm breaking from my fellow liberals with my support of the TPP. The TPP is not NAFTA. The TPP has the strongest labor and human rights protections we've ever seen in a trade agreement. This deal will put us in a better position in relation to China because it will allow us to set the rules in regard to global trade. I don't know about you guys but I certainly don't want China making the rules when it comes to global trade. The opponents of the TPP, namely Warren, are doing the same thing the GOP are doing with the Iran Deal in that they're engaging in fear mongering and knocking a deal that isn't even written and complete yet.

If they stop trying to fast track it and make it transparent, I might not oppose it. As is, my biggest concern is that it's just another NAFTA. I grew up with Borden milk and Mrs. Baird bread, top-notch products that are both now owned by Mexican conglomerates, thanks NAFTA, thanks Bill Clinton, I don't want to see President Obama make a similar huge trade agreement fuck up.

The TPP must be ratified by China or India to survive in the future in its proposed form. Most Asian countries that might ratify the TPP may withdraw form the treaty in 15 to 20 years. In future decades, the middle class in Asia will easily outnumber the middle class everywhere else in the world. Most future population projections expect Asia to have 4 to 5 times the middle class of the rest of the world combined in 2050. China and India will become the two most important markets in world. The BRICS will probably ratify a their own TPP type treaty.

That is all that would be needed to do.

If it is such a great deal, make it transparent, which every non-secret-agency papers should be, and see if the people are okay with it.

Basic thumb rule: If you hide it, there is something seriously wrong with it for the country.

The talking heads on the left keep saying, "It's not NAFTA", which is nothing more than an acknowledgement that NAFTA was indeed a fuck up. I'm not saying TPP is a fuck up, but it could be and the govt acting shady about it does nothing to dispel the perception.
