The only guy in my family who owned mercedes benz cars was the brother of my uncle who lives in lausanne, he owned a w116 s class from 1976 till 1991 and now he still has his beloved w126 s class. My family in the us is mostly owning vintage and modern gm and mopar cars, exception made of one of my cousins who drives a stang mach 1 fastback with a custom made 428 scj engine.

Luckily for Toyota truck owners, it mostly seems to be with their cars

All that means is that there are other problems with those cars (either mechanical flaws in the brake and/or gas pedal or its back to the floor mat defense) or maybe Toyota is just gonna say that the people who drive their cars are idiots that don't know how to use the foot pedals!
No, it means that NASA and NHTSA confirmed what Toyota said the problem was, was the problem.
