I grown to respect him. Not like me who slowly deteriorates to a bitter partisan that needs a drool cup to post.

Speaking of drooling, pecan pie with whipped cream, my lil' ol heart's a fluttering and my mouth's watering, ya'll. And thanks for the kind words, I've always respected your opinions, haven't always agreed with them, but respected them all the same. I've found myself retreating into my born and raised conservatism over the last couple of years, maybe a little longer, so I've really put away the bomb-throwing. Hell, you're going to find this funny, but I actually like Fox News these days. I've been watching with my pops a couple of times a week and I've really changed my opinion of The #1 Cable News Channel, especially during the day. Ah, but I'm getting long winded, I digress, I miss pecan pie. A lot.

Used to be able to barely tolerate lamb, but now it's reached the cringe precipice.

Pecan pie isn't on my cringe worthy list, but it is on my don't like list. Eh, no biggie. That just leaves more for BC and xifre.

I'm also with d-rock on okra, fruitcake and mince meat pie.

But not on potato soup. Mmmm baked potato soup...with sour cream, cheddar cheese and bacon bits....that stuff is manna of the gods :thumbsup:

Eggs and liver are some of the worst for me, while there is a huge list of other food that I can't stand to eat, but I won't bore everyone with it.

I have eaten and enjoyed everything listed in this thread with the exception of Balut. I don't think I could eat cat, otherwise I can't think of anything I wouldn't try at least once. I grew up on a farm killing/dressing wild game, and killing/butchering stock animals, so that might play a role in my lack of squeamishness.

Strange, because when I was a wee lad my dear old mum used to make me "boiled egg and soldiers" on certain days. Used to love 'em back then.
