Top 10 Passwords

I remember when someone found out my password to my computer, they didn't do anything, but if they wanted to they could have

I will freely admit to using monkey and password for a few things when I first got the internet. I'm a little more creative now.

hm, not exactly, but very close to ;)
but I've got 2 different type of passwords - about which I do not care much (from top-10), and important ones. Important passwords are 100% in accrodance of the most paranoic security recommendations, just like "45Rt67iiO"

btw, it is strange, that in top-10 there is no "fuck off" variant

Lets see could mine be................. ;)

Jack and Jill went up the hill
To fetch a pail of water.
Jack fell down and broke his crown,
And Jill came tumbling after.

maybe not. :D

Not even my bad passwords are on there. Some unimportant stuff is dictionary-based, but there's nothing on those I care to protect anyway. The rest ranges from 6-20 characters of case-sensitive alpha-numerics plus special symbols. To anyone that wishes to crack my bank ID password in their lifetime, I wish you good luck.

Cracking passwords is pretty unusual though. Most security issues come from people being careless, like writing their password down or telling others what it is. You'd be surprised how often you can get it by just calling an employee at a company, saying you're from the computer support section and ask for it.
