That's right. I've seen the most dedicated porn and fetish people denying toon porn as the most ridiculous kind of porn. I, myself, was always skeptic and I'm still astonished of how some people find ********* and schoolgirl bukkakes (read: hentai) sexy.

But after my friend, who is a drawer (not that kind of drawer though), showed a few pictures from some "art"-forum and I looked around on the net for some more conventional toon porn, I'm less negative to it.
Partly because of this site: Premium Link Upgrade - an index of amateur artists erotic work. Most of it is well... crap in my opinion, but there are some pretty hot pics (being a gamer I like those who draw gaming babes).

So, whereas I don't think pencil porn has a jerkoff-value, it's certainly interesting and a little sexy. What do you think?

PS. This isn't solely about hentai, hence option no. 2.

However, I do agree with what LadyLove said. Cartoon porn is often used for a way to get around the law in cases of ********** and **********. These uses I feel are despicable.

I like some cartoon porn. Some of it is erotic, some of it is just funny. Some of it gets really depraved, but everything has a dark side. I've seen comments around the board about how much people dislike anal scenes, but other people really enjoy it. To say I like cartoon porn doesn't mean I like all cartoon porn, just that I like some of it enough to be able to say that I like it.

Why Pixel Porn?

Ok, just something I'm wondering about, because I have absolutly no idea what the appeal is here. What is the big attraction to computer generated/animated women? I ask because I'm starting to notice a growing trend towards these types of pics and sites on the net. Now, I may be old fashioned, but I just don't see how animation stacks up again flesh and ***** women. People always talk about how computer animation has gotten so realistic, but the "women" you see on layouts on this site and others generally look grossly out of proportion to me. I don't know, I guess I just don't get it. Are we moving in the direction that even surgically enhanced pornstars can't seem to fit some idea of perfection that's out there? I ask this not only because of the proportions of that animations, but also because I've seen some comments on different boards, including this one in the past, that kind of make me wonder about the ideas of beauty. It seems like over and over again posts include people finding small, insignificant faults in a lot of these women. "So and so is too fat", "This ones nose is an inch too long", 'She's got really ugly elbows" and stuff like that. Maybe slightly exagerated on my part, but close enough to wonder about.

Like I said, I just want to see what people find appealing about this kind of stuff. I'm not attacking anyone who enjoys it, just curious as to why.

I'd say that with animated/drawn characters, it's easier to support a fantasy of something either extreme or too unusual for regular porn, or simply just a different look, while with regular pictures, it's easier to support a regular fantasy.

I have enjoyed both, though me preference is photos of real models. I personally dislike the overly perfect and generic look of animated or drawn characters, which is so common today IMO. Often I tend to appricate it more from an artistic point of view.

I suppose in some cases ("fan art" and similar), part of the appeal is that it's a familiar character, not just someone who gets paid to take her clothes off. I'm not really into drawn or animated porn, but I've read fan fiction and enjoyed fan art at times (not a lot of the "erotic" variety though). It's a shame most of it seems to be of poor quality, but that's another issue.

I'm not into anime at all, but I can understand the appeal: women who never do anything that you don't like. Sure, an artist can do something to them, but feedback might prompt him to change his mind, or another artist could undo the unfavorable change, copyright aside. Real women, OTOH, do not respond well to negative feedback about themselves, especially for things that cannot be undone. Real women age, too; anime characters don't have to.

Perfection without the risks/flaws: no scarring or weird results from bad boob jobs, no annoying mole on her otherwise perfect face, no permanent changes from harmful/painful activities, etc.

Some people have many pet peeves, or things that turn them off instantly. Fetishism can also play a role; a foot fetishist might not ignore a scarred foot that others would overlook, for example.
