I put mine up the day after Thanksgiving and did the outside lights yesterday. I refuse to put any Christmas decor up until after Thanksgiving...one holiday at a time for me. I have a friend who puts his stuff up on 11/1. No, no, no LOL! It is pretty incredible though, his tree has over a thousand lights on it.

In popeland it's tradition to make it on the 8th of December. But i don't think that now it's too early. I love having a Xmas tree in the house. And yours looks beautiful.

the lights are multi function. actually much nicer when moving around.

Don't **** on candy canes. They have no expiration date so they are fresh forever. I toss them into my car console rather than Lifesavers or mints. Also served as sweets for my card games.

I was decorating my ******'s tree last weekend, and pulled a half eaten candy cane (still partially wrapped) out of the box of decorations. I jokingly tossed it at my ******, and I swear she put it back in the box. Guess we'll laugh about it again next year.

I'm putting up my tree sometime this coming week, without decorations. I want to see if the kitten is going to knock it over or leave it alone before I put the decorations on it. ;-)

She's kind of shady.
