Just finished up the first season on Amazon Prime. I enjoyed it though there is the made-for-tv cheesiness at times. I liked actor Jon Krasinski in 13 hours which you think would translate well as Jack Ryan but I think he was miscast. I know, he's playing Jack Ryan, the nerdy CIA analyst working in the Terrorist Finance division, but still doesn't fit quite right. I'm half expecting him to look into the camera when one of this co-workers says something profoundly stupid ala Jim Halpert. That's not his fault of course. The actor who plays James Greer is miscast as well IMO. Maybe I'm biased as I still envision those two characters (Ryan and Greer) played by Harrison Ford and James Earl Jones. It's all downhill from there.
