Oh how I love them! As long as they aren't damaging and just a god downpour, thunder, lightning, the works! Ah! How wonderful they are. Especially when it is building up to a storm. A distant thunder letting you know it is on its way and get ready.
A gray cast just veils over the day and an hour or so later the rain starts coming down.
I also like how I can smell the rain before it starts raining. Oh, what a lovely scent.
I would also love to be in a desert during a thunderstorm.
