This is a new thread for the purpose of making requests for threads to be merged, moved, archived, titles to be edited... and all that kind of stuff.
The old thread seemingly got a bit too big because mods were not always getting notifications of posts being made there in order to respond to them... and I can only assume that is because of the amount of replies and build-up of people subscribed to it over the years. Perhaps it is a bit too much of a strain on the system in terms of making sure everyone is notified of the latest reply in there.
So, this new thread should solve that problem. If this theory is ever proved wrong then this thread can simply be merged with the old one and it'll be like nothing ever happened. We'll see how it goes.
In the meantime, the old thread has been closed but is still viewable here as it will no doubt be of use to reference it every now and again...
