Watching porn for many years it has come to me that there seems to be two distinct types of adult performers. It really shows in there performances and attitudes [on screen and if you have ever seen them live]!

So it seems they seem to fall into two sides of the adult biz. Pornstar or ******/Prostitute they both ultimately are in it to make money, but are really different types.

Pornstar - Really seems to enjoy performing in front of a camera, always trying new types of scenes, not wanting the scene to end and loves the fan / other pornstar appreciation.

******/Prostitute - Scenes are really repetitive, can't wait for the scene to be over, never seems to enjoy themselves on camera and only really there because it's a easy paycheck!

Anyone else have a similar perspective on Porn, examples that come to mind:

Pornstar = Lisa Ann <--> ******/Prostitute = Kathy Willets

Pornstar = Phoenix Marie <--> ******/Prostitute = Teri Weigel

Pornstar = Tabitha Stevens <--> ******/Prostitute = Farrah

Anyone else?

As with any profession, some people are more professional about what they do than others.

Some just have different talent than others and are better performers, etc.

Take stripping for a comparison. Some strippers don't care about performing or either aren't that good and believe it's just good enough that they get up there and take their clothes off. While other strippers like to and do give good performances. In the same respect however, there are people there who couldn't care less about how they perform and are just satisfied with them taking their clothes off, while others appreciate strippers who perform better.

I would just say some are more professional and or more enthusiastic than others and leave it at that.

Pornstar = Diamond Foxxx = Loves It / Prostitute = Teri Weigel = Dislikes It

Pornstar = Julia Ann = Loves It / Prostitute = Mason Storm = Dislikes It

Just saw "Joey Silvera's Face Fucking Inc. #11" and thought how great Julia Ann is! She does so many different kinds of Porn and is great at it all with so much passion! I then watched "Legends And Starlets #3" and Teri Weigel didn't even sample her co-stars kitty. Was so like she really had somewhere else to be.
