Not you Whimsy. Anybody but you.
Don't look at meeeeeeee!!!!!!! It's a phase! I swear! It's just, you know, one of those caught off guard kind of thing. Don't leave me.....
I feel your pain Whimsy, I was suckered into watching the first one.
And it wasnt bad; by no means my favorite movie.
But It was alright.
Yeah. It's not bad. I mean, once it got past the whole school lunch thing and awkward staring teen dumbass moments... I kind of lightened up and don't really care one way or the other. Nothing I am going to run out and buy or wait in movie theatre line to see. Screw that, bullshit!
~~whimsy~~ I will defend you in this thread even though your politics annoys me.
I don't think we should ever ridicule anyone who wants to read a book, even silly little tripe like the Twilight series. Of course you became attracted to all the hot teen sexuality oozing throughout the film. Maybe you ran out of the theater shirtless like Jacob?
However...PLEASE for the sake of readers around the world, please read Bram Stoker's Dracula and Elizabeth Kostova's The Historian BEFORE you venture into Twilight....
I've read Bram Stoker's Dracula. Trust me, I have nothing to do with these vampires or CW's or any of that sort. My favorite kind of vamps are John Carpenter's Vampires and so far this one novel I am reading called Invaders by a Brian Lumley. Violent, blood thirsty, vicious, merciless vampires! Not sparkly gems in sunlight. Where I come from if a Vampire ends up in the sun they burst into flames and then dust.
I was in a playful mood last night when I thought about posting this thread. Plus, I knew there would be a hilarious bits of comments. I knew what I was doing when I posted and many have provided me a laugh. :hatsoff:
It's honestly not that bad. I doubt if I ever read the books... that was added fuel to ensure the funny comments to follow.
Thank you all for participating! You brightened up an otherwise dreary, sleepless week. :thefinger
