Shifty

O.G.
I've seen worse movies. Of course, that's not to say I'd actually line up and crash the gates to see the 2nd one.

~~whimsy~~ I will defend you in this thread even though your politics annoys me.

I don't think we should ever ridicule anyone who wants to read a book, even silly little tripe like the Twilight series. Of course you became attracted to all the hot teen sexuality oozing throughout the film. Maybe you ran out of the theater shirtless like Jacob?

However...PLEASE for the sake of readers around the world, please read Bram Stoker's Dracula and Elizabeth Kostova's The Historian BEFORE you venture into Twilight....

This is the only version of Twilight that I have seen.

Not you Whimsy. Anybody but you. :(

Don't look at meeeeeeee!!!!!!! It's a phase! I swear! It's just, you know, one of those caught off guard kind of thing. Don't leave me..... :(

I feel your pain Whimsy, I was suckered into watching the first one.
And it wasnt bad; by no means my favorite movie.
But It was alright.

Yeah. It's not bad. I mean, once it got past the whole school lunch thing and awkward staring teen dumbass moments... I kind of lightened up and don't really care one way or the other. Nothing I am going to run out and buy or wait in movie theatre line to see. Screw that, bullshit!

I've read Bram Stoker's Dracula. Trust me, I have nothing to do with these vampires or CW's or any of that sort. My favorite kind of vamps are John Carpenter's Vampires and so far this one novel I am reading called Invaders by a Brian Lumley. Violent, blood thirsty, vicious, merciless vampires! Not sparkly gems in sunlight. Where I come from if a Vampire ends up in the sun they burst into flames and then dust.

I was in a playful mood last night when I thought about posting this thread. Plus, I knew there would be a hilarious bits of comments. I knew what I was doing when I posted and many have provided me a laugh. :hatsoff:

It's honestly not that bad. I doubt if I ever read the books... that was added fuel to ensure the funny comments to follow.

Thank you all for participating! You brightened up an otherwise dreary, sleepless week. :thefinger

I went to go see Twilight: Eclipse last night with my girlfriend. In my drunken state I was yelling in the movie theatre whilst watching it. I gave shout outs:

When I saw the wolves I yelled out: Go L3ggy! Take care of them all. My girlfriend would shush me and I said, don't get between me and my L3ggy!

At another point I yelled out at one of those stupid silent awkward scenes: STDiva would so not approve of this bullshit!

Then I stated: Please, you're either going to have sex with the dead guy or the animal, either way, you're a fucked up teenager condoning necrophilia and beastiality! Sick whore!

Needless to say, it was fun. :)

Since we're talking about vampires and werewolves, anyone remember the Munsters...here's a question to wrap your cerebral cortex around, Lily was a vampire and Herman was a Frankenstein, then they had Eddie who is a werewolf how the fuck is that genetically possible?

I watched Twilight the movie a few weeks ago. Despite the overall laugh at that stupidity scenes... in the end, I...

I think I liked it.

I'm so confused now. I never wanted anything to do it with until then. Now I am considering the possibility of reading the novels. Just so I don't have to wait year after year for the films to release to know what happens.

And I think Alice in the film is just damn hot! Especially in the baseball uniform!

It's on my NetFlix queue but I keep putting other shit in front of it. Maybe I'll give it a shot.

Ace Bandage

The one and only.
This guy is a fuckin' fruitcake. :1orglaugh

(I've read all four novels, but I won't see the movies. That's just taking it too far.)

Ha! Ain't I awesome. :D

Whimsy you butt munch! I wanted to see Eclipse! Tell your girlfriend to piss off for Breaking Dawn you're taking me instead! :( :shy:

Maybe. But you're buying your own popcorn and any other expensive as hell thing at the food place!

It's really not that shabby.

I'm the opposite. I've so far watched all the Twilight films but never read the novels.

No one has answered my Munsters question...Also I heard Stephen King once quoted that Stephanie Myers couldn't write for shit...and she is laughing to the bank...aside from that I'd rather watch Trueblood at least you get to see tits and literally head spinning sex.
