That alone makes Will's statement sound remarkably moronic. The other would be the fact that staying away from WWII would have helped keep Hitler in power for a longer period of time. Which shows me that the most Will and his ilk know of war is how to personally avoid fighting in it, and starting it as a nation.

Yeah we were attacked and Hitler declared war on us first. WW1 was a lot more we decided to get into it for our own reasons.

As many know, the bombing at Pearl Habor was known in advance. They let it happen to get into the war.

i know that, he knows that. And we still feel the same way.
WWII in europe was a mistake, they should have backed off and gave peace a chance.
And the war with japan would have never happened.
A lot of death would have been avoided.
