Couldn't disagree with the show taking another downturn any more.
Before last week's episodes, we saw two of the better episodes of the entire series. Clear has already been mentioned. It was a great way to re-introduce us to Morgan (who I think will be back), but also a great way to see some interaction between Michonne and Carl. Is it just me, or has Carl become a bit more likable than last year? I think it was also a turning point for Rick, who is quickly learning that being paranoid about everyone from the outside (Re: Michonne, or even the hitch hiker) is not evil...I think he saw that he was on the road towards ending up like Morgan. At the same time, I think it also gave Morgan a huge slap.
The episode after that, Arrow On The Door, was actually rather good, as well. Not only for the meeting between a now saner Rick and the still insane Governor, but for the interaction between Daryl and Martinez, as well as the interaction between Hershel and Milton. While there was obviously a lot of mistrust between Rich and The Governor after the meeting, I think it gave Daryl and Hershel a chance to see that Martinez and Milton were not completely evil...simply lead down the wrong path by a madman. Audrey helped them realize that, as well.
I think we will see Morgan again, at the end of the last episode of the season. I also think that Tyrees and his daughter will turn on The Governor. I also think some of The Governor's own people will do the same - Milton will for sure when he finds out about Audrey, and I believe Martinez will follow once he sees The Governor's true madness.
