The use of the word "slut" towards the Pornstars

Context.

"Yeah, you're being a naughty little slut". Ok, used as dirty talk during nasty sex. I dated a girl that didn't like the word used, unless I used it with the word "my".

"Hut the fuck up! You're just a slut, know one cares what you think". Not cool. Just because a woman works in any portion of the adult industry, doesn't mean she's a slut.

Personally, I like using the word during sex...in fact I love filthy talk during sex. The other thing a lot of people neglect to think about is, there is a very big difference between being a slut, and being slutty.

The one I have had issues with is "cunt". I love that word, but it does evoke a LOT of issues, and most girls don't want to hear it even in the context that I like to use it for, which is, as another name for pussy, but never towards the woman, just that one single part.

Cunt. To me that is a derogatory term... at least as I use it. But you mentioned context. That's a hard thing to differentiate during interactional communications.

Mr. Daystar

In a bell tower, watching you through cross hairs.

Agreed, and I love to use it as such, but ONLY towards men. But under certain circumstances, when you're really working that pussy over good with your tongue, and fingers, and you're talking nasty, sometimes it fits....but the girl has to know what it's all about, and not be freaked out by the word. I have only been involved with one, and have only heard one or two other people I know, say they have been with a girl that liked it. My wife hates it....so I haven't used it in the context I speak of, in 20 years, at least.

Towards the guy it's very direct. A very useful word. Soon after I came onto these boards I learned the word "twunt". Very useful.

I am confused now as I have a porn dvd whose title is 18 year old cunts and another that says teen sluts- maybe its ok not sure

If you get slapped hard its not good I guess.

Would have been nice to actually get some feedback from other girls in the industry instead of them just making posts promoting their stuff.

I personally like being called names during sex even in my personal life. So slut isn't bad term for me... i actually like it. I like slut, whore, bitch, cunt, etc. I think it is part of the submissive side of me. I also believe that these words are only negative because society says they are. I love the work fuck... Its not a negative word to me either. My favorite word to be called is cunt... because it sounds so dirty.

According to X, A slut is "a woman who has many casual sexual partners."
And that is basically what they do for a living !

I also believe that these words are only negative because society says they are.

I agree with you that people/society put a negative connotation to the word when there really shouldn't be but the question is do you see yourself as a slut because you're a pornstar?

The fact that she's a woman has no bearing on the definition. Anyone that has many casual sexual partners is, or at least should be, defined as a slut... man or woman.

Glad to see you chiming in Harley. How would you compare the use of the "s" word with the use of the "n" word?

For those too sensitive, I ask this question to a person that I have respected for a number of years. A valuable contributor to these forums. Very intelligent and expresses her feelings in a non confrontational way.

Plus I like her boobies.

That word... Eh, I think using the "n" word has a bit more negativity associated with it, since it has a much worse history tied to it, what with slavery and all. I don't think I've ever used that word other than when talking about the word itself, or referring to someone else who used it in a racist context. Though I'm not even sure if I'd actually say it's necessarily worse or more negative, they're just two different beasts.

Plus I like her boobies. -- is that confrontational or not

Ha no, why would it be? I'm around to show off my boobs, among other body parts, so I would certainly hope he likes my boobies!

No nip. Harley is one of the prime OCSMs on these boards. Would I use the "s" word regarding her portfolio of work? No. I don't see that as a selling point of her product. Her work has a wide span. Sexy, alluring, a bit of camp too. That's my take. She has never been to any of my card games so I can't say anything personal about her. Harley Spencer deserves credit for creating her product and making a few bucks for several years.

Now Harley, are you back in NYLee? Come to my card game with Briana Lee. I can very well do the healthy yet decedent menu for you. I know how you like to look trim but Briana Lee is able to pound down my potato skins, cheesecake, and everything else she can (pound into MY Tupperware and take home} and still look terrific.

Rules of the house:
1. Bring money if you want to play cards.
2. Come hungry and be ready to eat. Hot food will flow through the night and peanut M&Ms are never more than your arm can reach. Bags of leftovers are welcomed and encouraged to take home.
3. Exposure of boobies are neither encouraged or denied. This practice may be used during the games. Yes, I have used this tactic to win hands.
4. You are responsible to find your own way home.
5. Overnight guests have 2 options, help me clean up the night or touch me in certain places. You will be served breakfast and lunch but still have to find your own way home.

The next card game will be Tuesday.

Nope, I am in Canada :)

But I have more or less ditched the healthy diet, long ago. My metabolism seems to help with keeping my body relatively slim. My diet consists of carbs, sugar, salt, fats, and very little veggies or fruits. Allll the tacos and pasta! And lots of cookies at the moment since it's the holidays.

It's really not the word itself that bothers me personally, it's the fact that when most people use that word, it means that they think poorly of the person they are saying it about. It's looking down on someone for being sexually promiscuous, thinking less of them that is bothersome. So it's about the connotation of the word.

Harley and Bob got it right its all about context. If your using the word to put someone down then yeah its negative word. I'm with Lauren there are no bad words just how society make them negative. I love the word cunt, its sexy. I love when I'm fucking and my girl tells me to fuck her cunt or eat her cunt.
