Trump defending this Porter fuck, "We hope he has a great career ahead of him." Why, Mr. President? Why does Rob Porter deserve anything but a life of poverty, misery, and strife?

because that's not something you actually come out and say in an official staement?

and who are you to determine what anyone actually deserves? And I'm pretty sure if most of us got what we deserved, we wouldn't be too happy about it.

Fortunately for others, I don't have any persuasion over what they deserve, though the determination isn't hard, any given person knows if they're a fuck and deserves the same poverty, misery, and strife as Rob Porter.

And you know what, this is a GREAT direction to take this thread: Virtue vs Vice

We all know what, if any skeletons reside in our own wardrobes.

I wouldn't know, but I'm not a creepy fuck.

and I'm not saying you are (or aren't), just that I'm not. so we're not making assumptions here.

White House set to release the, "lengthy democrat" memo soon. Will be redacted to the point of pointlessness.

but didn't they purposely reveal "sources and methods" so it would be redacted and they could screeech foul?

there's a doctor rotting away in a Pakistani prison who would like to talk to you about sources.

No, it hasn't.

It would be impossible to say why redactions were made, until it's released, or the motivation. Redacting information that reveals sources and methods or redacting information solely on the basis that it hurts the Trump administration will still be difficult to discern.

Trump reportedly thinks Hope Hicks put herself before White House in the Porter scandal

The president is said to be frustrated with his close aide over her handling of the White House’s response to the ***** allegations.

The fallout from the Rob Porter scandal has engulfed Trump’s inner circle at the White House. The president is reportedly angry at the handling of the situation, and is training his frustration on his top aide and close confidante Hope Hicks, sources familiar with the matter told CNN.

Hicks, the White House communications director, reportedly helped craft the administration’s initial response to the serious domestic ******** allegations against Rob Porter, who resigned from his post as staff secretary. That included chief of staff John Kelly’s laudatory statement, which called Porter “a man of true integrity and honor.”
But the situation is even more complicated than Hicks’s possible misfire in the White House’s response. Hicks is reportedly dating Porter, and the president and others in Trumpworld are questioning whether her relationship with him clouded her judgment when responding to the unfolding crisis, according to CNN.

Hicks, one of the more private figures in the Trump administration, is close to the president. She had previously worked for Ivanka Trump’s fashion label before joining the Trump campaign, and later the White House.
But it’s starting to look like she is becoming a scapegoat for the Porter scandal. Vanity Fair’s Gabriel Sherman, citing an anonymous source, reported that Trump had not been consulted about the White House’s statement before it was released. Sources told CNN that Trump is under the impression Hicks — who has reportedly continued to defend Porter privately to colleagues — put herself before Trump and the administration.

On Thursday, White House spokesperson Raj Shah said Hicks had “recused herself” from some matters relating to the Porter situation — but it might be too little, too late. Trump was allegedly also irked with his team’s attempts to conduct triage. “Trump watched Shah’s session and was unhappy that he showed contrition on behalf of the White House,” according to the Washington Post.

This is bad, I mean realy bad. If Trump thinks Hicks put herself before him at some point, she's toasted. And if he decides to fire her, he looses the only person he realy trusts, hhis only confident.

And he might also soon fire John Kelly. Oh boy, if Kelly leaves, the white house will look like Battle Royale .
