Conflict Desert Storm II: Back to Baghdad (XB)
Brothers in Arms: Road to Hill 30 (XB)
Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter 2 (360)
Rainbow Six: Vegas (360)
Chronicles of Riddick: Escape From Butcher Bay (XB)
Super Mario Brothers 3 (NES)
The Legend of Zelda: A Link To The Past (SNES)
Civilization II (PC)
Minesweeper (PC)
Rock Band (X360)
I'm really into the 360 right now, but I don't think anything released now or anytime in the future, no matter how innovative or graphically superior, can match the joy I got playing those first four games when I was a kid. Except for Rock Band, o'course.
Hoops (NES)
F-Zero (SNES) - The music alone made this game spectacular
Populous: The Beginning (PC)
Final Fantasy VIII (PS1)
Michael Andretti's Indy Car Challenge (SNES)
1. Winning Eleven / Pro Evolution Soccer series (PS2)
2. Grand Theft Auto series (PS2)
3. Guitar Hero series (PS2)
4. Donkey Kong Country series (SNES)
5. GeneRally (PC)
I don't know if I can list 5 (it might be more than 5) but here goes in no particular order:
1. Final Fantasy VII (it was the one that got me into FF)
2. Metal Gear Solid (it was the one that got me into the MGS franchise and that Psycho Mantis fight was awesome)
3. Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic (All Star Wars fans should play this game)
4. God of War (Huge Mythology fan and it exceeded all of my expectations)
5. Mass Effect (Just amazing from start to finish)
1 SWG
2 Connect 4 (Overseas, Navy guys will know what I mean!)
3 NBA Jams
4 Duckhunt
5 Contra (up, up, down, down, left, right, left, right, B, A, select, start)
1. Starcraft (and probably 2 when it comes out)
2. Final Fantasy VIII (IMO a better story than VII)
3. Half-Life 2
4. Metal Gear Solid 4
5. Counter-Strike: Source
But there's so many more, like: all the Final Fantasys (with the exception of 11), the other Half-Life, rest of the Metal Gear Solid, Warcraft 1 through 3, Diablo 1 & 2, both God of Wars, all four GTAs.
just bought a ps3 and it comes with the bourne conspiracy. thinking about buying metal gear solid 4 and pes 2009. are both games worth investing in ? The bourne game is good.
lol, you can really tell the ages of some posters with this thread. If you got into video games with atari or nes then you have at least one all time fav from that system. Beyond that and you never had a nintendo.
1) Freeway (for Atari...you can play it with one hand, which leaves the other hand free for drinking beer...awesome)
2) Final Fantasy VII
3) The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time
4) God of War / God of War II
5) Venture (for ColecoVision...yeah, that's right, COLECOVISION)
