The Sopranos

rp3 - I saw that posted elsewhere and heard it was BS. The credits didn't give any clue to this Nikki Leotardo character. There's might have been something too the whole scenario, but I'm not sure what you have there is correct. Could be Tony and the ****** just kept living on and they fucked with us by giving us the impression something was going to happen.

I've also seen a few other very plausible explanation that aren't close to that.

Personally? I thought the last show sucked, but the whole damn show has been **** since season 3, with the exception of a couple shows here and there.

My turn - I loved it! Of course, I tend to like "arty" stuff - I'm a huge Tarantino fan, would have been disappointed with a standard end to the Sopranos. I thought the ending captured a lot of what's been great about the series - the way these people live on the edge of mortality no matter how normal their actions are - just another ****** having a weekend dinner together at their local diner. But every guy that comes through the door could be a killer, could be the end of normalcy and the beginning of huge turmoil.

My heart was pounding and I had tears in my eyes when it ended - loved it!

i didn't like it , the final season wsn't all that great for me . but the arty ending was a let down , a whole year to write that? i love tarantino too but i just didn't see this as on a par with tarantino.i have noted it seems to be 50/50 with people loving or hating the finale so i guess it was a success on some level.

I didnt even see it. But by what I've read here and other places the last scene was shown in a first person persective from Tonys eyes correct? Then it just went black as he saw Meadow enter?
If that is so then I believe he was shot in the head.

It's sad how they ended it. The fans of Sopranos were very loyal the past years. We all waited patiently in the delayed seasons. We all were patient when they said they would split the final season in half. And how does Chase repay the fans? By cutting off the ending. Sad. You can't cheap the fans like that.

Sorry to bump this thread up, but I thought I'd share this clip by posting it here, someone put a lot of effort into it and many of the scenes are favorites of mine as well.
