What the hell is this movie about? I was bored off my ass in the first 10-20 minutes while I was a ***, I found out I hated Don Bluth's bullshit during my teens, and now that I'm in my late 20s.. I picked up secret of Nimh and GODDAMMIT this movie is still boring as ****, makes absolutely no sense and showcases Don Bluth as a guy with tons of imagination and NO FUCKING SUBSTANCE! How much acid was that guy on, honestly?

Might as well try making sense of the friggin' GOONIES. Random 80s bullshit that ****** as entertainment for **** back when. No wonder all the 20-something chicks are fucking insane.. they actually watched the same movies I did and grew up stunted! BAH!

In 1982, the animated film The Secret of NIMH was released. Directed by Don Bluth, it was not entirely faithful to the book; it adds a mystical element completely absent from the novel, the character Jenner is specifically made a villain, and several characters are ****** in a ***** fight for dramatic effect. Additionally, the title character's name was changed to Brisby to avoid potential objections from the makers of the frisbee, Wham-O.

It was loosley based on Mrs. Frisby and the Rats of NIMH written by Robert C. O'Brien. Also illustrated by Zena Bernstein.

Mrs. Frisby and the Rats of NIMH is a 1971 ********'s book by Robert C. O'Brien. Also illustrated by Zena Bernstein, it won the 1972 Newbery Medal. The book has had many subsequent reprintings over the years, but is sometimes referred to as The Secret of NIMH; this name change stems from the differing title of the 1982 film adaptation.

It was about ******* being used in lab experiments. Wasn't Shannen Doherty's voice in the 1st one?
Maybe there should be a remake with a more interesting plot by Pixar.

the secret of Nimh in a nutshell:

A field mice needs to move her ****** because it's coming up on spring time and the farmer is getting ready to plow the field, which will destroy their home.

But her youngest *** is sick with pneumonia and he can't be moved so she goes to seek the help of the Rats of Nimh.

The Rats live in the farmers rosebush and they were part of the pharmaceutical company Nimh's experiments. The experiments made them highly intelligent. She learns that her husband was one of the rats and that he was the one that led to them escaping from the lab and was most likely ****** by another rat that is scheming to take control over the society.

They eventually defeat the villain and along with the rats leader, who apparently has magical powers, they are able to sabotage the farmers machines and move the home using levitation.

I'm not really sure what the whole point of the story is, other than to be entertaining for ****. Freeone's members will probably tell you that it is a metaphor for Communism.

A scaving criticism of the days poilitical and sociological ideas and the hope for an anarchist paradise to one day prevail. And this film is just a way of indocrtinating the nations youth into carrying this out.

I have never seen nor heard of this movie (can't you tell?), but most **** movies are about what I've stated above, right? Thats what I get when I watch Toy Story and Willow etc ..... :dunno:

Although Hollywoods plan for political change has yet to come to pass.

Bastards!!!

Wow... its been years since I either saw or read it. However, I do recall thinking that the book made a hell of a lot more sense than the movie.

What a croc of fucking bullshit! I'm glad I never watched it.

I don't remember anything about it. I did watch it as a ***, and I think I liked it back then. I mean, if you ask me, it was just a cartoon. Mindless entertainment. I certainly didn't grow up thinking COMMUNISM, MWAHAHAH.

I don't understand why we're complaining about this.

If you want something to complain about, complain about the horrible stuff **** are watching these days.

Why no tits, Torre??

When I'm complaining or wielding a comment that will possibly be reviled/disdained by others I dont post tits. Cuz I wouldnt want tits to be guilty/reviled by association. ;)

I dunno how many people actually liked Nimh.. so I didnt include tits in this venture. :P
You know how defensive people get when you trash their ********* bullshit movies? LOL And the best part is.. they havent even watched them in 10, 20, 30 years. They just remember it being fucking awesome.

Which is why they should go watch their ********* movie again and see how little sense.. how humorless.. how damned awful most of our revered/treasured movies are.

... yeah, that's right. FUCK lion king, FUCK Nimh, and fuck my hand is an excellent substitute for human hole. Let's do this thing, hand.

I think it might have just been one of those things that wasn't mean to have any deeper meaning or substance to it beyond being a base for some fun entertainment for ****, at least the cartoon anyway.

I remember seeing this movie when I was little. I remember the Owl scared me so bad. I had one of those giant poster coloring books and I remember my *** helping me out coloring a couple of the pages, but I wouldn't color the pages with the Owl. I still have the official movie adaptation around somewhere.
