The Reason I am Back

....is because I have been told by work to stay home. I am having health issues lately such as kidney stones, gall stones and this morning the Doc told me I might have liver failure.

Now, I don't get smashed and plastered like a 17 year old. I have the occasional beer and smoke socially. I am not hard on my body. I'm quite healthy. I'm not overweight, I swim twice a week and eat very well (Fish & Probiotics!). So what the fuck gives? I'm so confused right now and kind of in shock by what this guy told me, it's playing with my head. Last night I turn on the television because I couldn't sleep because of the abdomen pain, and the report was on how 1 in 4 Canadians dies from that Cancer.

I'm kind of pissed off.

Sorry to hear about your physical issues, MM. I assume you are fairly young (younger than I am I bet). Kidney stones are just absolute hell....I feel for you. Go to a high-alkaline diet and I think you'll see them go away. How is the doctor determining that you may have liver failure? Are your liver enzymes out of whack? Sometimes that can be a blood-test fuck-up or just an aberration so I wouldn't freak out too much until they do more testing.

I never waited for any medical service, nor was I ever told which health care provider I had to use until I left Canada and moved to the USA.

with all the crap in the water today, go easy on the fish.
i'm not a doctor or an engineer, but drink plenty of liquids, juices like grape and cranberry and youll get through it.
gotta get that liver checked out more though.

Drink loads of bottled water, I know its fuckin boring but general dehydration causes all sorts of health issues. You could get the gall stones removed. You can destroy 80% of your liver and it will still regenerate itself assuming you change your lifestyle.
