I gotta give some credit to pinky for spawning the idea with his "would you marry a pornstar" thread

I'm surprised this thread hasn't been created allready to the best of my knowledge (believe me I looked because it seems like a good topic.) I have always wondered how living the life - as they say - effects someones social life, personal ties, relationships etc. We all love looking at all the gorgeous bodies that flash on our screens and many of us have a deep affection and appreciation for the beauty we witness here. But inside each of these bodies - and I know this sounds gushy - is a person who frankly has a life when the clothes go back on...

I want people in this thread to share their knowledge on the subject and if some of the Certified Members would grace us with a little insight - I would be forever thankful. There are a lot of great male and female posters on this board who idolize and support these women and rightly so! But I want to open up the debate

It cant be an easy business can it - all the demands on and off the set - If anyone has stories to share about the industry or some knowledge on what its like to be in the biz and have a life at the same time - I ask you to post it here.

BTW this pic prooves that Briana's not just hot - she's crazy beautiful!!!!

Any chick that looks that good in sweats can only look better without them

Cheers

Pornstars (not porn performers, who are an entirely different sort) have a public persona and a private life, but people get a bit weird about them. Sometimes they get stalked, etc.

Pornstars are human beings just as we all are. They're wildly assumed by people to be very wealthy (and some ARE) and they're often idolized by their fans, which can be problematic at times. In the end, they're normal people (the stars, not the performer types who do 5 scenes to get their next heroin fix) and they live, eat, sleep, breathe, and walk like everyone else.

There's no great mystique; it's a job and a career, at least while they have the looks/body to do it, remain popular, and can bring in the cash.

It's business.

Great photos of Briana. You're right, she's amazingly hot.

Thanks - its part of a set by an artist name greenfield that is did an art book on pornstars depicting them in their dual roles as pornstars and real people which was partly the insipiration for this thread...

She does look good in sweats! The only thing I noticed about her, though, is that she doesn't seem to have a waist. At least, not a very noticeable one. That, however, doesn't really matter in her case, as I'm certain :hit:

I was about to say the same thing. I think the photographer might have been able to help if he had her stand in a different way, maybe swing her hips to a different angle. One thing is for sure though, she is fucking beautiful.

Seraph - What's the name of that book? Got a link?

When something is called private, we should respect that and let it remain private.
Understood.

Pornstars are people too. Sounds simple because it is.
They have the everyday challenges a lot of people do - paying the bills, being ill, etc.
Gen Padova has / had, I believe Leukemia.
RayVeness needs a surgical procedure but needs the finances to fund it.

These two examples are private, but not when they are published either in print or reply all emails.
It's an example of how they do not differ much from the average person.
The same can be said for mainstream celebrities, also, IMO.

When the industry went cold porn turkey because of the AIDS scare a while back, there were some stars who had difficulty paying their normal bills. It's the profession they have chosen and they were not getting work, so some had to dance, or model for the time being.
Normal life beyond the porn for most stars.

^here is the link to the book. I think its really a fascinating project - kind of like Annie Liebowitz's "Women"

Poggy is right about private lives remaining private and nobody here wants to pry... but if people want to talk about this issue, the thread is here to do so... :hatsoff:

I checked out her face first (because I'm a "face man"), which is attractive, but when I saw her dangling huge labia I wished she'd left her pants on. ;) lol

I'm not saying it's good or bad...but it looks like half a hamburger.

There's a girl I went out with a while back. We met at work and we had a fling for a few months. She quit and became a stripper. We're still friends as she's probably one of the most down to earth person I've ever met. To her, it's just a job and yes she's using what she has while she has it. I had that for a while, she was good, REAL good.

It's good to see a woman with a healthy outlook about a job which a lot of people, including the media, like to slander.

Wow, I will actually have to say I agree with all of the above posts.

Nightflys first response was absolutely on point.

Its a job. A great job but yes at the end that is what it is.
