At least it's over. Lets just hope that FreeOnes never has an easily abused silly PR stunt of this level ever again where the winners are picked by their ability and resources to make Internet traffic flow and not their actual quality.

Listen, none of the women I vote for in the first two rounds made it (other than maybe Nina Mercedez and Sophie Dee, who I started voting for in the second round IIRC). But I didn't feel a need to criticize the criteria, the approach and the avenue or the votes, let alone the winners. Heck, this entire contest was a perfect example of a Democracy in action. It's far from perfect, but it attempts to involve everyone, however they want to be, or not.

No publication houses were in control of this. No preference was shown to FreeOnes partners. No marketing was thrown into the mix except for the contest itself. And no one, not one member, had to pay to be a part. The FreeOnes crew runs a legit operation, for everyone, non-paying just as much as paying.

How often do you honestly not see that?

I do look forward to someday having a legitimate "Miss FreeOnes" competition, but if not I hope this is the end forever on this.

Oh yeah, well let's just get Donald Trump on the phone for the next one. Oh yeah, that'll really make it "legitimate" ... not!

Seriously, the women in this contest were more beautiful, more enchanting and with far less "restrictions" than any other contest I see run. You had women of all forms, all backgrounds, all ages. WTF here ... seriously.

No, it's not perfect. Sure, there will always be some criteria that's going to favor. But it was very democratic, which is always going to be imperfect. Hats off to the team, these are very nice avenues to be a part of.

I hope this runs next year and I will seriously consider attending the awards, toting my camera and flash gear as well (if allowed, would shoot just for FreeOnes' own posting). I just love to shoot beautiful landscapes, and the female form is always such the view.

Yea^^^ totally agree man, its Freeones' first contest of this kind so of course you can't expect it to be perfect. If it does continue next year, it can only get better, with even more sexy ladies entering the contest.

Well, it was a very long weekend but well worth it! The conclusion of the contest resulted in some really hot girls all in one place (and having Sophie Dee try to bribe me to tell her the results for $15 and Vicky Vette with sex...), lots of drinking, dancing, titties, and fun!

So thank you to all the ladies that signed up to Miss FreeOnes 2010 and a big congradulations to those that made it into the top 10 and to Bree Olson for winning!

Petra and CO. was a great contest... next year thats make it a bit shorter please.

This was the #1 feedback I've received so far from both fans and the girls/their webmasters/publicists/etc. I can't tell you how long it will be next year yet since we haven't started the planning, but it will be significantly shorter.

Congrats to Bree Olson and I had a nice time last night. Petra you are a dear soul for all the work you put in and Roald.... next time please don't show up to a party with shaving cream.

Man, he snuck it in when we had to go back to the hotel for some stuff! I honestly did a shaving cream check when we left the first time! :eek:

I can't say this will happen every year, but we'll more than likely be doing it again for 2011 with some changes to make it even better!

That's the idea! I have a project that I've been working on for almost 2 years now that should attract more OCSMs on the board. Included in the project will be an OCSM of the month contest for active board members and OCSMs only...so I suspect interaction to pick back up when that goes live this month (knocking on wood)!

My congrats to Bree, Vicky and all the girls, and Shanda thanks for reminding me I missed Vette's cam show due to not being home able to catch it..grrrrr

I literally flew in yesterday afternoon to Amsterdam and got to the office a few hours ago. I'll get the video up soon and post it in this thread for you guys.

Tough day for Petra and Roald who flew in and out again - makes for a long day. Then again you were ready for it after dealing with us for 3 months.

Roald and FreeOnes are still in LA...I got the pleasure of flying in only for the weekend AND getting to experience the earthquake sunday while I was waiting to board the plane! And oh yes, I was so ready for the party though I didn't get to drink nearly as much as I wanted to! Everyone kept me busy! :glugglug:

Not a good job by FreeOnes (Petra ...). The results came late in the
internet, no vote counting for the ranking and on the Miss Freeones
website is still the the party announcement and no ranking. Poor
web-performance by Freeones.

Considering the fact that I was able to get this thread up Sunday morning after only a few hours sleep and having to run to the airport...that's pretty damned good. Plus, this weekend was a 4 day weekend for the FreeOnes crew due to Monday being a holiday as well (Easter Monday) so Monday was the soonest a programmer could break away from family obligations to put the results page while the rest of us were globe trotting.

Had a blast at the party!

Maybe there can be a talent component for the Miss Freeones 2011 where the OCSMs have to use their talents to ~impress~ a small, select members panel made up of, err, me and some other people :thumbsup:

I'm not actually sure what your hang-up about this whole contest has been but there is a thread that you can do your moaning in or you can wait to take your frusterations out on the survey I'm going to hopefully put up this week.

This is why I can't understand all the barking. This entire episode just involved OCSMs, not turned them away, or the fans for that matter.

Granted, not everyone is happy. So? I mean, you can only ask the OCSMs to participate, you can only hope more OCSMs will join, and you can only hope the fans include themselves as well. You can't force anyone. You're not going to make anyone happy.

When is the last time we've had such involvement ... anywhere? Sure, some will be like, "no big deal." Their loss. I love how FreeOnes is becoming such an avenue for anyone, anyone who wants to be.

I can see the effort you and the team are putting into this. And I'm not even letting that factor into my evaluation of the results. But thank you for doing such. I hate it when such effort is discarded, excused or otherwise chided as sinister or misleading, when it was for anyone who wanted to be a part.

I hope no one thought I was complaining. I was just using that as an example of someone who can look past the differences we all have in our starlets, and recognize what this contest was all about.

And that's where it succeeded brilliantly.

I'm still awaiting Full Figured FreeOnes 2010. Then again, wasn't I going to start my own, unofficial contest for that?
