You could almost start LA's NFL Expansion team with the talent and dollar value of this year's USC Defense....loaded with 1st Round draft picks...probably $250mil in future guaranteed contracts assuming Rey Rey #58 goes #1 and Cushing/Mays/Moala etc go in the first round....

Since when has any team ever started 2 returning Rose Bowl (or any BCS game) MVPs on the same team...and those MVPs being Linebackers??? INSANE!

Moala might be an early 2nd rounder, he'll have a tougher time making plays without Ellis and Jackson on the line. I do agree with you on Cushing and Maualuga though. Throw in Kaluka Maiava, Luther Brown, and Clay Matthews, and thats probably the best set of LBs after Florida.

^ yea I do too...

Can't wait for the Gator game this weekend even though we are goin to kill hawaii.

why you think that? This is clemsons year to shine and the pressure will be on clemson this weekend big time. Anybody going to the game?

what game are all of you looking forward to opening weekend? I would really like to watch Michigan State vs California since i am a Spartans fan, but i live in New York now and i probably will not get the game. If that game is not on i will be looking at Illinois vs Missouri!

Its also the last year they'll have a badass running game, James Davis is a senior and CJ Spiller might leave with him. Im looking forward to seeing the game, but because of where I live, I might going to have to settle for MSU/Cal

I'm looking forward to USC vs Virginia at Virginia. According to the preseason rags I read The Cavs are in "rebuild mode" this season and the spread (at last check) was SC favored by 19.5...seems high given SC's offensive troubles. I certainly don't see Virginia scoring more than 10 points...but I don't think SC can put 30 on the board either...

Anyone know the broadcast schedule for Saturday?

I havent seen it yet.. If anybody gets plz. post it.

I pretty much agree. Between what you mentioned, it being a road opener, and USC looking ahead to Ohio State I'm going to take the Cavs and the points.

Sadly, i dont think my UVA Cavs will be quite as good without Long there. And with USC coming up Saturday its going to be one UGLY night in Charlottsville. OUCH.

Imreally excited for ncaa football this year with all the great games.

the best one is Ohio state at southern cal

I with i could go:mad:
