Never seen the US version and I can't stand Ricky Gervais, so I never saw the UK version either. I prefer things like Spaced and Black Books, much funnier.

In all fairness when the British version of 'The Office' was first shown in 2001 it seemed original. But the BBC (who produced the show) then, after it was well received by the critics, started showing repeat after repeat of it. It was if they (the BBC) wanted to shove it down our throats.

Gervais is totally overrated. Has anyone seen him in the movie 'Stardust'? I caught a glimpse of his "performance" on a movie show and it was teeth-itchingly embarrassing. :o

The American "Office" is pretty good. I do enjoy a lot of the gags. For me, the show bogs down with "Jim" and "Pam." They just pretty much suck. Their blandness is probably supposed to stand out against all the other wacky characters but I find myself losing interest whenever Pam and Jim are in a scene.

I wish I had BBCAmerica because then I'd get to see the UK version, I assume.

For my money..."Frasier" is still the smartest and funniest American sitcom in the last decade...

I have only ever seen the British version (I heard its the better one, and i'm british so I thought it was the better choice)

I really didn't like it, I didn't find any of it funny and it was so awkward and made me cringe...

Never much liked The Office myself, I'm not really a Ricky Gervais fan all things said. But then, maybe I'm sad because I don't like Little Britain and stuff either!

I just don't think comedy is as funny lately....the only show I've enjoyed is Peep Show, but it's probably only lads that 'get' that show

The US Office is so much better than the original! I love it! One of my favourite shows on at the minute. When I get the chance, I watch it on Paramount Comedy 1.

The UK version tops all. The US version is great too and now there's a French Canadian version and geez it's fuckin' hilarious. It's just kind of weird to see the same storyline used in three shows and 2 languages.

The UK Christmas special is so funny.

The Office is a really funny show.I have seen US version on estonian television, but I haven't seen the UK version
