Makes some pretty good observations about habits in gamers. I know I'm guilty of #3, #4, #8 (especially with any SSX game), #10 (this applies to any and every game for me), I used to be a frequent saver (#11) but I don't do it anymore, but anytime I play Super Mario 3 I always have to catch that wand before it falls (#12).

Maybe I should go on that show Obsessed :dunno:

i have done #2,#4,#11
#11 not as crazy as the list suggests but i save when i either come up to an important part (just in case) or finish an important part
either #2 or #4 whichever one is shooting off a round to pick up another clip i do but not obsessively DO.
the rest of the #'s I DONT PLAY OR HAVE NEVER PLAYED ANY OF THOSE GAMES!

guilty of 1, 3, 4, 6, 8, 12. As for the save thing, I do save often, but not to the extent listed. Just before and after potentially difficult challenges in a given game. Or after I've done a lot of shit I don't care to repeat!

I got in the habit of saveing everyday on Persona, even if I didnt do crap.

There were some on there that I am not severe with. Such as saving. I tend to save a lot when I can just so I do not have to go through an hour or so of replay due to some stupid mistake. That is why I am glad there is a auto-save on top of the main saves made by the player. I do not however make multiple slots each save. I have at least three save slots in case one should get all funky and not load.

Some I do. A game like GTA, Fallout, or a game I like the cutscenes (I will save before the cutscene) I will save multiple. A lot of games I will save once, maybe twice if I can, and alternate after so many.

I've heard horror stories from friends and accounts on sites where people lost hundreds of hours in a game because the game either glitched up, the save file became corrupt, or gone. I don't look forward to that.

Worst thing I remember is acidently hitting my friend's Final Fantasy IV cartage and it deleted all his data and he was saved at the end of the game.

Heh. All the powers of two (2,4 and 8), except 2^0 in that range. The others don't really apply, mostly because I haven't played those games much.

But really, number 4 is sometimes so damn extreme with me that it really might as well account for all of those obsessions and then some. I'm an insane inventory hoarder. I must clean all places of any stuff I can find and try to sell the things I don't use to the nearest available shops, even if the items are rusty daggers or something similarly worthless. :eek:

The only alleviating factor is that I leave everything that would have to be stolen in peace. You can guess that playing games like Morrowind, Oblivion, Fallout, Nethack, Baldur's Gate, Planescape Torment and other games with a lot of items around are really an unforgettable experience for me..
