THE movie to watch this Xmas day...

Is of course "The Interview".

Whether in a theater, VOD or even as a Legit Youtube video Sony really went balls out to get this movie shown.
Hilariously Ironic that as of this morning the movie is all over the pirate sites as well. The great thing is that this is the one movie Sony isn't going to give 2 shits whether you pirate or pay for it, so long as you watch it. They've made it clear their main goal isn't to make money, but rather to just get this film out to everyone.

Michael Lynton, Sony Entertainment’s CEO, said in a statement. “At the same time, we are continuing our efforts to secure more platforms and more theaters so that this movie reaches the largest possible audience.”

It wouldn't surprise me if they leaked it themselves, or conveniently used some easy-to-hack streaming/download service.

I made through about half of it before I got tired of it. It had its funny moments but it got tedious pretty quickly. It's basically Dumb And Dumber Go To N. Korea.

TNT and TBS are both running A Christmas Story, I've already watched it three times since last night.

My favorite holiday movie is "It's a Wonderful Life. I saw it a couple of weeks ago but didn't seem to find it anywhere last night. I probably should just buy it.

I'm glad it was released, but I won't be watching it, as it looks like a truly awful movie.

It's exactly what you would expect from a Rogen/Franco film.
I think the funniest part was at the end of the credits where they left in the standard disclaimer:

"This is a work of fiction. The characters, incidents and locations portrayed and the names are fictitious, any similarity with any location, name, character or history of any person is entirely coincidental and unintentional."

I know you see it in pretty much every non-documentary movie, but it's still funny they kept it in.

North Korea may have offered the movie the best possible publicity

That's what it looked like.

But if there's one freedom we cherish in America it's the freedom to make crap movies! You don't like it you can go live in ... North Korea.

I wanna see Unbroken. That looks like a damn good story.
