thanks for this, i never hated her, i just never really got into her like i did some other stars when i first saw her (the first time i saw Jenna Haze i was blown away not just by her looks but the whole performance as well). I can see how some would find her attractive, but for me she has that stereotypical 90's pornstar look which i dont really go for, but thats just my opinion.

Like you said i looks like its a case of right place and right time and very clever money management and investment and you have got to admire her for that.

It's very possible that, at some point, she had a good manager. I don't know if Jenna is a visionary or a genius....I mean, she married Tito Ortiz...she may well have just hired someone who knew how to take her and market her well, then help her make good career and investment decisions.

I don't know that this is the case, but I'd bet a little money that it is.

For example, Tori Black worth a million bucks? I find that one hard to believe.

I'm surprised by the Jenna Jameson info. I would have thought she was worth more than that. So who knows how true these numbers are.

Since net worth is based on what you own and not on what you earn (e.g., a high earner could have a 0 or negative net worth), this is an interesting list... entirely accurate or not. One name that is missing, that I find kind of amusing, is Shy Love (Sheelagh Blumberg or whatever name she's using this week). As much as she's tried to portray herself as a porn mogul and corporate woman of business, everything that pops up about her seems to suggest quite the opposite.

But for the ones who actually are doing well (especially the ones I've never or barely heard of), good for them. I'd heard several years ago that Tera Patrick was doing well in real estate. That was before the Great Recession and the bursting of the property bubble. So I don't know how well she's doing now. But I suspect that some portion of her net worth is based on her real estate holdings. I'd say that it's probably true that most of those at the top of the list have diversified holdings, some of which have little or nothing to do with the business of porn.

1-Back in the 90s, she was scorching hot.

2-She got tons of work at a time when video was truly king of the porn hill, before the internet put any sort of ding into earnings.

3-When she was at the top of her game, she parlayed the slim margin of mainstream popularity into mainstream work, and even got a book on the NYY best seller list

4-when the internet started taking off, she took control of, and was one of the earliest players in the business with her own website

I am guessing she managed to take the (I am guessing substantial) earnings from all of the above, get a good money manager, and invest it well.

I don't get the Jenna hate on the various porn boards.

I've said this before and I'll say it again,had Janine been doing BG vids when Jenna blew up,She would've been the one that we would be talking about as far as revolutionizing the industry and not Jenna.Even with her success,I just feel like Janine should've been the one to take porn to the next level and not Jenna.

Seems like Janine probably realized all of that too late,and left a lot of money on the table,and ultimately started doing boy/girl way too late into her career.
