I guess you would call it a hicktown.
A Kaff means a really really small town or village.
If anybody tells you hes from...I dont know...yadda yadda yadda-ville or whatever we would call it a "Kaff".
And most of the time we say He comes from a Kaff near Stuttgart or in Bavaria (examples)
just that you know where it could be.

Another example.
I dont know where l3ggy is from.
If he told me hes from Uppsala and I didnt know where exactly that is...I would say its a small Kaff in sweden.
