The McRib Is Back At McDonald's!

This has to be the worst sandwich ever. Tastes like a grilled sponge that got pulled outta the dishwater.

On a somewhat brighter note, I ordered the baby back ribs at chili's earlier tonight.

That thing looks flatter than the real things in McDonalds. Did they finally start to use realistic pictures for advertisements?

Light one for Me
Sounds rotten!

Lets see. We got badly molded meat from an animal that might or might not be a cow, and it's topped off with bad barbeque sauce and put in an old bun. Sure, why not? It's like the king of modern day ultra processed quick food.

On the plus side they are quite filling when you just need to get something into your stomach, and are at least palatable when you don't think about what your eating. All the ones like this I eat are bought at the grocery store and microwaved though.

I bet these things have an amazing shelf like too. If the apocalypse ever happens there is still going to be some McRibs out there for people to find and eat.

Food snobs, considering the price, and who makes it, it isn't that bad.

Right? If I want ribs I can just as well make them at home 100 different ways. But a McRib, that's a secret recipe handed down through generations. Select cuts of free range McPork delectably seasoned, generously slathered with smoky McSauce topped with farm fresh McOnion all on a fresh baked McBun. You guys McSuck.

Try it, first one's free...
There is a reason it keeps going away - it tastes like crap. Why they keep trying to resurrect it is beyond me.

pretty lousy boneless porkchop, cut into the shape of a rib. Shocking that it even does any sales in the BBQ capitals of the US(which being in one of those), when there are way better BBQ out there.

They monitor hog and feed prices. It takes about 30 weeks to raise them for market so that's enough time to tool up and put together another campaign. When pork starts to rise again it's bye bye McRib.
