Should library collections contain soft or/and hardcore pornoo? :dunno:

In a bell tower, watching you through cross hairs.
Libraries are County entities, I believe.....therefore no. Since they deal with likely almost EVERY section of society, it would be nothing but a legal nightmare right from the get-go.

I have seen at least three gentlemen's clubs with the name, "The Library" and one bar (in San Luis Obispo).
Hanging out at The Library is fun.

They should have adult sections in libraries for things such as hardcore and soft core porn whether it be literature or dvd.

Exactly and although porn is little polemical issue it is part of adult and literature culture.

There is a five star restaurant in Myrtle Beach SC called The Library.

Excellent. Treat a woman to dinner there and you won't need porn .

The library which has been converted to a restraunt. *lol*

Yes, porn can cause indignation, but porn magazines and books part of the written culture.

Such clubs are certainly cultural oases.

A chick with her ass in the air, and a dildo sticking out of her asshole, isn't "culture" it's entertainment. Putting pornographic materials, in a public place, that is frequently occupied by children, and in some cases staffed by high school students, is just a bad idea. You want to put children, in the same proximity to children, and create a place for porn, and children to be available to possible sexual deviants?! It would not only be a logistical nightmare, but just a fucking stupid thing to do.

Such a material would of course be placed such way that only adults can see them.

Porn images and captions are often obscene, but one can say that erotic books and porn magazines are part of the history of literature.

My mistake. I meant to post........."You want to put children, and pornography in a place that is easily accessible to sexual deviants, and pedophiles."...I was still waking up, and distracted whilst posting.

Universities with Psychology or Sociology departments definitely should have them. I know UCLA has a complete set of Playboy from the 50s to the 90s because when my cousin retired from being a publisher, he donated them to UCLA (and got a huge tax credit too ;)
