Historicus Richard Carrier made an impressive study about the (non)existence of Jesus. Whether you agree or not with his conclusion, it's worth a watch if you're interested in this topic (if not it's going to be long and probably boring for you). First part of his study was to figure out how to solve this problem (described in video 1), the rest is the result of his methods (described in video 2). What I find interesting is actually the first part. It's been several times now that whenever I try to do some research about this, I hear or read there's no logical or historical method applied by biblical scholars and historians dealing with this topic leading to dubious results. Which makes me wonder what the fuck they are doing.

Lol ! Have you even watched that video you posted? The only effort you did was a quick search on a confronting (but mistitled) video just to oppose the vids I posted, didn't you? :1orglaugh
Anyway, it led me to watching the entire debate (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sn-dI4idYPI) which had interesting points from both sides. The comment section from the longer vid was much more civilized too, as opposed to the lunatic christian uploader bashing around in the other one.

But I'm interested to hear why Richard Carrier would be a Zionist?

Why would the cupcake watch a video? He doesn't watch any with an opposing viewpoint. He knows what he knows because he knows because one book told him so. He has no idea about critical thinking and forming his own opinion. Here's a tactic of his that's classic. He embeds George Carlin videos to make his point in a political thread because "he's a genius" but if someone does the same thing in a religious thread, "he doesn't know what he's talking about".
