I love the pomp and pageantry of college football. A&M's 13th man; Howard's Rock; Nebraska's blackshirts; Touchdown Jesus and anything associated with Notre Dame on a football Saturday; Army/Navy. And then there's my beloved Hawkeyes. We've had a few good traditions like singing the Hokey Pokey in the locker room or the marching band playing "In Heaven There Is No **** after a home win; or infuriating legendary coaches like Bo Schembechler with the visitors pink locker room; Floyd of Rosedale, etc. etc.
But this week during the Iowa vs Wyoming game the good people of Iowa did something remarkable. And it caught the attention of SVP.
