They really should have come up with a better title than The Event. It does nothing but remind me as a potential viewer of The Happening and that ladies and gentlemen is a very, very bad thing.

Unless of course it's supposed to be a comedy. Which I very much doubt it is.

I liked it and hope they keep their word about moving it along and answering questions quckly-hope they don't panic and cancel it quickly.

Finally watched it and I'm not sure if I'm ready for another "raise questions, answer later" show. It's just too soon. But I'll watch the first 4-5 episodes and then decide how it plays out.

I watched the show and it seems to hold some promise. Typical 24-style twisty-turny stuff that makes you want to "tune in next week!".

It's too good I'll give it a year. Flashforward was definitely supposed to go for more than a year. It got canceled because it wasn't dumbed down enough.

From the previews, it looks like it should be a made-for-tv movie or a series that could be good if done on HBO or something. Haven't had a chance to see it yet, but if Tony Kornheiser of PTI says its worth seeing, may have to check it out.

The more I think about it, the more I think you might be right. Since their DNA is 1% different, I'm starting to wonder if they're from the future (slightly more evolved than our current generation of humans?) or from an alternate universe

My thoughts exactly DJ. They share a genetic line. It could even have something to do with genetic manipulation.
